Another item on my list was to blog three times this week: my Monday Mantra, an update on my running & a recipe. Monday Mantra: check. My running post: nope, oh well. My recipe post: was going to blow it off in favor of other pressing matters, but I've passed a new favorite recipe on to a few friends this week and decided I really want to share it with you as well. Nothing complicated, just me new favorite greens shake that tastes a whole lot like a Chocolate Milkshake.
I started making this recipe about two weeks ago as a way to add more greens to my menu and as a quick way to get calories in after a run. Now I'm completely addicted and crave it everyday. So here it is... enjoy!
2 Cups of Spinach
1 Cup of Almond Milk (or whatever sort of milk you desire)
1/2 Banana
1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
Protein Powder (optional; I've been adding when I'm using this as a complete meal on the go)
Blend & drink while it knocks your socks offf!
And now I can cross another thing off my list ;)
